Thanks for resources provided by the Congress organisers,
both non-Commercial crystallographic software developers and software users
are invited to participate in an informal Crystallographic Software Fayre
that will be held throughout most of the IUCr 2002 congress in Geneva, Switzerland.
This will occur from Thursday 8th August until Wednesday 14th August 2002; except for Sunday,
August 11, which is the day of the conference excursions.
As per the 14th of July 2002, the following dedicated computers will be
available throughout the conference in the Crystallographic Software Fayre Session Hall:
Besides making informal use of the computers in between booked time slots,
non-commercial software authors and interested users are invited to to
book time slots to allow the presentation of formal software
demonstrations. Bookings of time slots are done through
Lachlan Cranswick (E-mail: l.cranswick@dl.ac.uk) .
The fayre will be held in the Session Hall, next to three of the six
microsymposia halls at Palexpo. Please note again that none of the computers will be
connected to the internet.
