Windows ME Environment and Crysfire
If you have out of environment space errors in Windows ME, consider the following

However, if one right-clicks on the MS-DOS or CRYSFIRE icon placed on the Windows desktop, chooses Properties, followed by Memory, then the Initial Environment can be changed from Auto to a value - I simply chose 4096 as the largest available.
