1. How I can show the metal environment?
- The structure should be large enough to have all desired fragments (See the
"Generation Options" dialog). Select the
atom, invert selection and hide it (Ctrl+H). Select the atom again and execute
the "Fragments->Expand Nodes" command (Ctrl+E) as many times as you need.
2. Cannot save my work to file
- currently there are some problems. If you have been using topological
analysis, then try to run the "Network-.Evaluate Topology" command - this
should sort it out. Otherwise try to export the work into an alternative file
format.
The topological network should be constructed before following the scripts.
1. How full environment of a topological node can be shown?
- Hide all atoms and execute the "Network->Evaluate Topology" command. The
command puts vertex symbols into the clipboard and shows the nodes which are the
closest to the center of the structure. Right click on any element of the
structure (if visible) and execute the "Fragment->Hide Bonds" command. Then
right click on the desired node and execute the "Atom->Topological Term"
command. Press the "Select Cycles" and "Select ACycles" buttons and activate the
main window. Invert selection and hide it (Ctrl+H). As the result all rings,
found during the analysis will be shown.
2. How I can show coordination spheres of a node?
- Select the node, invert selection and hide it (Ctrl+H). Select the node
again and execute the "Network->Expand Nodes" command. To show the next
coordination sphere press Ctrl+A to select all visible nodes and execute the
command again.
1. The drawing is too slow.
- it presumably happens due to high resolution of the scene. This can be changed
in the "Scene Parameters" dialog: simply
change the "Rendering Quality Options".
