Imaging Plate sample
This is one of a series of IP images taken in the pseudo-Weissenberg mode under an inclination angle
of 10 deg (for a triclinic sample).
The rough positions of the different layers are indicated. The rotation angle is 16 degrees. With an overlap of 4 degrees
this corresponds to an actual rotation range of 12 deg.
30 such images could then be used to reconstruct the
complete 0th-5th reciprocal (Weissenberg) layers by merging the corresponding layer strips of the individual IP images.
After that the corresponding complete precession images can be obtained by a coordinate transformation.
