OLEX: Getting started
On screen interface
Rotation of the model is performed using the right mouse button, whereas
the selection of elements uses the left mouse button. Dragging the
right mouse button while the Shift button is depressed allows the whole
structure to be translated.
Selection of single objects
Visible objects can be selected/unselected by clicking on them with the left mouse button. To select a whole fragment, right click on an element of the fragment, go to the 'Fragment' submenu and click on the 'Select' item.

Multiple objects can be selected by dragging the mouse while holding down the
left button. There are two different selection modes, selection
of the front plane and selection with depth. The first mode
works with the projection of the structure (i.e., you can only select
from the visible elements): elements which lie wholly or partly within
the selection frame are selected. The second mode works with 3D structures
and it is possible to select overlapping elements: in this selection mode,
only elements lying completely within the selection box are selected.
To switch between modes use the corresponding button on the main toolbar.
