Problem: (4.7) GSview seems to hang on startup.
Fix: Use GSview 4.8.
Workaround: Kill GSview using the task manager. Delete gsview32.ini from the user profile directory. Try restarting GSview.
Problem: (any) GSview crashes with assert in Ghostscript 8.13 gxccman.c.
Fix: Use Ghostscript 8.14.
Workaround: Disable text anti-aliasing.
Problem: (4.4) X11 GSview crashes on startup if LANG environment variable is not set.
Workaround: Use GSview 4.5.
Workaround: Define the LANG environment variable.
Problem: (4.3) GSview won't print PDF files with AFPL Ghostscript 8.00. This is due to some security changes in Ghostscript.
Workaround: Use GSview 4.4 or later.
Workaround: Disable "Options | Safer".
Problem: (4.2) GSview displays with wrong resolution or orientation. This is due to a bug introduced by the security improvements in AFPL Ghostscript 7.04.

Problem: (4.1) Attempting to display any file results in an Unrecoverable error: invalidaccess in .setdevice. This occurs with GSview 4.0 or 4.1 used in conjunction with AFPL Ghostscript 7.04, due to some security improvements.
Workaround: Use GSview 4.2.
Workaround: Disable "Options | Safer".
Problem: (4.1) "gsview /E filename" doesn't work.
Workaround: Use GSview 4.0.
Problem: (4.1) GSview Linux in German shows some Spanish text.
Workaround: Look at src/gvxinit.c lines 858-859. Fix the typo and recompile.
Problem: (4.0) DOS EPS file is invalid if adding TIFF preview and EPS omits trailer. If an EPS file omits the trailer and a TIFF preview is added by GSview or epstool, the DOS EPS file will contain an incorrect size for the PostScript section. The same bug occurs if a user supplied preview is added. This does not affect adding a Windows MetaFile preview.
Workaround: Append the following line to the EPS file before adding the preview
