Some Powder Diffraction
Highly Cited Papers -
Structure Factor Extraction -
Cell-constrained Whole Pattern Fitting
From papers published and cited at least 10 times in the 1975-2000
range.

Selection Conditions
-
Two core papers about two quite different
methods for structure factor extraction (iterating the Rietveld decomposition
formula or refining individual intensities) were studied for citations.
-
A second wave of core papers on methods citing
the two above papers was selected because they could be cited mainly for
this "structure factor extraction" topic.
-
Papers (applications for SDPD or review
papers, size/microstrain studies, cell and space group checking,
magnetism,
method papers - maximum entropy,
direct methods, preferred orientation, etc - or other papers) citing these
core papers were listed, which could be cited now for other reasons.
-
There are also negative citations, for instance : "using direct space fitting
avoids structure factor extraction difficulties".
-
If your paper(s) escaped, send the reference to : alb@cristal.org.
-
That list is more indicative than exhaustive, and it will be false one
week later.....
-
See other lists about powder diffraction in general (1,2)
and about indexing powder diffraction patterns
and a study about special methods in SDPD.
