Collecting a New Spectrum

This allows a series of cursor positions from existing plots to be collected and a motplot spectrum generated from them.

• turn on 'Collect Points' mode in the modes menu by clicking the left mouse button on the "Collect Points' button (the button will be highlighted).
• position the cursor at the required place on the plot window and click the left mouse button. Continue in this way until all data points have been gathered.
• turn off 'Collect Points' mode in the modes menu by clicking the left mouse button on the "Collect Points' button ( the button will return to its normal colour and a new spectrum will appear in the spectra list.
